YUVA

The dynamic youth wing of KCWA (Kerala Cultural & Welfare Association)

🌟 Who We Are

YUVA is the vibrant youth wing of the Kerala Cultural & Welfare Association (KCWA), created to empower, support, and uplift the younger generation of the Malayalee community in Croydon and beyond. As an integral part of KCWA — a respected trusted community pillar since 1975 — YUVA carries forward a proud legacy of cultural heritage and social service, while creating a welcoming and a vibrant platform tailored for youth.

One of YUVA’s core missions is to be a guiding hand young individuals who are new to the UK, helping them navigate the challenges of settling into a new environment. Whether it's finding community, building confidence, or accessing resources, we want every young person to know — you are not alone, and we are here for you.

YUVA fosters leadership, creativity, and social responsibility through initiatives in arts, sports, culture, academics, and volunteering. We’re here to celebrate your roots, support your journey, and help you grow into the future with strength and belonging.

🏛️ About KCWA

Kerala Cultural and Welfare Association (KCWA) has been the cultural backbone of the Malayalee community in Croydon since 1975. Its mission is to bring together the community through a rich array of arts, sports, education, and welfare programs that support both youth and adults.
Regular weekly activities provide platforms for children to grow their talents and for adults to stay engaged and connected. Our dance programs, for example, have gained national recognition — a reflection of our students’ dedication, our instructors' expertise, and the invaluable support from families.
KCWA fosters not just unity within the Malayalee community but also extends its hand in friendship to other communities, promoting social harmony, cultural integration, and shared progress in our beautifully diverse borough and beyond.
